For Easter this year we went to the Tongariro Crossing near National Park in the middle of the North Island. This area was used as Mordor in Lord of the Rings. We were lucky enough to spend almost three weeks in Australia, visiting Sydney, Melbourne, Newcastle and Perth in a whistlestop tour.

Unknown to Darren Rice, his favourite hat has accompanied me around the world visiting many of the most famous landmarks known to man. The hat is loving the travelling at the minute and very rarely mentions Darren, if at all. He may never return.
